You aspire to be a K-pop idol. Manila will host an audition for YG Entertainment

This is your time to shine, do you have the guts and talent to want to be a popstar like blackpink? Be ready because YG entertainment is going to the Philippines

The global audition for the YG Entertainment music label will take place in Manila on April 16 at ZERO Studio, Quezon City, the South Korean label announced on Tuesday, March 7.

Aspiring idols born between 2004 and 2012 are eligible to attend the auditions. The following categories: vocal, rap, dance, and appearance. They should only pick one.

While dancers can perform one song with music in a minute, those auditioning for the vocal and rap categories must sing one song in that time without music. Candidates for dance must bring their own music on their phone.

March 7 through April 9 will be the pre-application period. Applications should be submitted online at https://linktr.ee/ygaudition. Those who submit their applications during the pre-application period will learn about their specific audition time for April 16 via email on April 12.

On-site applications will also be accepted on the day of the auditions, but participants must sign up in person before 2 pm at the venue.
