Yerin Ha, an Australian-Korean, has been cast as Sophie in "Bridgerton" Season 4.

In the next fourth season of the well-liked television series "Bridgerton," South Korean-Australian actress Yerin Ha is slated to play Sophia Beckett. However, representatives of the actress, the production, and the streaming service declined to comment.

Benedict, the main character in the future season of the show, has a romantic interest named Beckett. The eight-episode series is reportedly scheduled to premiere in 2025 or 2026.

The fourth season of "Bridgerton," which is based on Julia Quinn's novel "An Offer From A Gentleman," was officially announced by the streaming service in July 2024. The trailer saw Benedict (Luke Thompson) being urged to prepare for a masquerade party.

The plot centers on Benedict (Thompson) attending his mother's masquerade ball and falling in love with Sophie Beckett. Despite coming from a noble family, she is treated like a menial housemaid in her stepmother's home—aside from her glitzy silver gown.

Ha's most well-known performance was as the primary character in the 2022–2024 science fiction television series "Halo." She also made appearances in the Australian TV shows Troppo and Bad Behavior.
