Katy Louise Saunders and Song Joong-ki welcome a boy into the world.

The first kid of Korean actor Song Joong-ki and his wife Katy Louise Saunders is a boy. Song's management company, High Zium Studio, reportedly broke the news first, according to the Korean entertainment website Soompi.

In January, Song had both revealed her pregnancy and his marriage to Saunders. The "most precious gift" of their life, he added, was their new baby. He thanked his supporters for their unwavering love and encouragement.

"I’m always grateful to the Ki Aile [Song Joong Ki’s fans] who give their sincere, unchanging love, and I, Joong Ki, will also sincerely wish for there to be great joy in all of your lives as well.

"As befits an actor, and in order to stay true to myself… I will return to greet you with a cool project," the actor added.
