Xian Lim Soars Solo! Actor Takes First Flight as Pilot

Xian Lim has added another feather to his cap, this time as a pilot. The actor recently took to Instagram to share his excitement about his first solo flight.

In a series of posts, Lim showcased his accomplishment, including a photo of him receiving his pilot's epaulette. He also shared a glimpse of a common pilot tradition: getting drenched with water after a successful solo flight.

He posted a reel after this one that featured footage of his first solo flight and him inspecting his aircraft outside the hangar.

Lim, who began his aviation journey at Topflite Aviation Academy in September, marked this significant milestone with a traditional water dousing ceremony.

"Earned my epaulette today. I can't wait to show you all the footage. For now, sharing with you a little tradition after the first solo 1 flight!" he captioned a post on Instagram.

Just a month ago, Lim shared a video of his first flight with a flight instructor, expressing his thrill and excitement about taking to the skies.

Aside from his aviation pursuits, Lim has been busy with his acting career. He recently starred in the romantic fantasy series "Love. Die. Repeat." with Jennylyn Mercado. He also ventured into directing with the horror film "Kuman Thong," produced by his girlfriend Iris Lee.
