Taylor Swift's Glitter Freckles Spark Frenzy: Small Beauty Brand Fazit Blows Up After Chiefs Game Appearance

Do you know the taylor swift effect? Because this business just got a lot of orders after Taylor wore their glittery freckles to the Chiefs game.

When she wore Fazit Makeup Patches to Monday's Chiefs game, the relatively obscure beauty business instantly gained popularity. The patches were dazzling, temporary tattooed freckles scattered across her cheekbones and nose. "POV: Taylor Swift is wearing your glitter freckle brand Fazit at the Chiefs Game," wrote Aliett Buttelman, cofounder of the little firm, in a video she uploaded to TikTok two days later, shedding tears over the flood of orders.

“In the last 12 hours, sales and web traffic have skyrocketed by over 1,000 percent,” Fazit Beauty cofounder Aliett Buttelman told WWD via email Tuesday morning. “Urban Outfitters sold out yesterday, and now, every retailer is reaching out to us.”

Buttelman and Nina LaBruna co-founded the popular social media network Fazit, which promotes individualism and acne positivity on sites like TikTok. As a result of Taylor Swift's impact, the company has become more well-known, and items that were previously sold out—like Area's denim shorts—now sell out.
