Madonna Celebrates 66th Birthday at Pompeii and Donates to a Theater Project for At-Risk Kids

Pop icon Madonna made her 66th birthday extra special by giving back. During her visit to the historic site of Pompeii, she donated to a local theater organization that supports at-risk children. The gesture underscores her ongoing commitment to philanthropy, adding a meaningful touch to her milestone celebration.

“As made known during the meeting, the artist decided to support the project, financing the entire year 2024/2025,” wrote the museum in a statement.

After giving Madonna and her group a private tour of Pompeii, some of the young actors offered a sample of their work. The director of Pompeii is Gabriel Zuchtriegel.

With a budget of about 250,000 euros, a project involving 300 teenagers and kids from Pompeii, Italy, toured Bologna, Ravenna, and Vicenza, drawing spectators who stood in line for hours outside the complex's entrance.
