Paris Hilton and Charlie Puth honor Liam Payne.

One Direction has been a part of our teenage years, and hearing the news about Liam Payne was hard. When I heard the news, I could not believe it either. I thought it was just people messing about it, but when I saw a legit source, my heart shattered, and I cannot get out of bed and even work. This band was part of my well-being. They are my first boyfriend. I have been waiting for a reunion, but I guess it will not happen in this lifetime. Maybe in the next life we can see them reunite, and we are all watching on them dancing and singing to the whole album.

One Direction alumnus Liam Payne, 31, died in Argentina after falling from a balcony. Charlie Puth and other members of his family, friends, and fans have shared their sorrow on social media.

Using Instagram, Charlie Puth expressed his "disbelief" at Payne's passing, claiming that the man had always been "kind" to him.

“I’m in shock right now. Liam was always kind to me. He was one of the first major artists I got to work with. I cannot believe he is gone,” he wrote.

The singer of "One Call Away" then posted an old picture and a video of himself with the former member of One Direction, captioning it, "I am so upset right now." I hope he finds peace.

A video of Payne's previous interview, in which he called the former a "serious musician" and a "firm friend," was also uploaded by Puth.

Hilton, meanwhile, expressed her love for Payne's departed loved ones on X (previously Twitter).

“So upsetting to hear the news of @LiamPayne passing. Sending love and condolences to his family & loved ones. RIP, my friend,” she wrote.

Payne, a singer who rose to stardom in 2010 as a member of One Direction, passed away on October 16 after falling from a hotel in Buenos Aires, Argentina. He had publicly talked about his struggles with drugs and mental health, and his ex-fiancee Maya Henry was suing him. Bear Grey, Payne's 7-year-old son, and his ex-girlfriends Kate Cassidy and Cheryl Cole survive him. On Instagram, Malik's sister Waliyha and Styles' mother Anne Twist posted heartbreak emoticons.
