BINI cuts short Dagupan show as some fans faint due to heat

Despite the scorching heat in the Philippines, nothing can deter us from supporting our beloved BINI PPop group. However, during their performance at the Bangus Festival in Dagupan City, safety concerns arose as fans began to faint and feel lightheaded due to the intense heat and overcrowding. In an admirable display of concern for their fans' well-being, BINI made the difficult decision to cut short their performance. It's a testament to their love and dedication to their supporters

Colet kept warning fans to be aware of their "safety" in footage from X (previously Twitter), where the members were seen asking fans to step backward and avoid climbing on elevated locations. Other videos showed the members giving water bottles to the audience.

“Nagwo-worry kami sa safety niyo. Hindi tayo magproproceed sa next song if hindi tayo makipag-cooperate,” said Colet. (We’re worried about your safety. We’ll not proceed to the next song if you won’t cooperate with us.)

At one point, Stacey cautioned fans in Ilocano not to push one another while also advising them to be careful. Sheena, Jhoanna, and she were all clearly crying at one point throughout the show.

After just three songs—"Lagi," "Huwag Muna Tayong Umuwi," and "Pantropiko"—the trio called it a day on stage.

The exact count of guests who fainted at the event remains unknown, but confirmation from Dagupan City's Disaster Risk Reduction and Management validates an exclusive report by ABS-CBN News. Thankfully, there were no major injuries reported. Despite the sweltering conditions, members of BINI took to their personal X accounts to urge everyone to "stay hydrated" and prioritize self-care
