Rufa Mae Quinto to Star in New Film About Women Empowerment with Director Joyce Bernal


Joyce Bernal and Rufa Mae Quinto will work together again on a women's empowerment movie ten years after they worked together on "Masikip sa Dibdib: The Boobita Rose Story."

"Mayroon, I'm working with Direk Joyce Bernal on VMX. "I have a film for VMX with director Joyce Bernal. We'll have a reunion. It's a lovely film for all women," she said. "We're having a reunion.

Quinto revealed that Alessandra de Rossi was chosen to write the screenplay for the movie, which would feature scenes shot overseas.


However, among other things, the actress-comedian withheld information about the film's plot, cast, and public release date.

Although Quinto did not specify whether it would be Star Cinema's "My Love Will Make You Disappear" or another production, she did imply that she would be featured in Kim Chiu and Paulo Avelino's next movie.

“Ang Babaeng Na F**k Up ng Sistema” marks Quinto and Bernal’s reunion after working together in the films “Masikip sa Dibdib: The Boobita Rose Story,” “Super-B,” and “Booba.”
