Selena Gomez suggests her upcoming record might be her last and that she should start acting soon.

Actor, founder of Rare Beauty, and Grammy-nominated singer Selena Gomez recently talked about her wish to concentrate on one creative endeavor, with music coming in last on her list of priorities.

“I started having a lot of fun with music and then touring was really fun. But I was doing my TV show [Wizards of Waverly Place] at the same time and I just found it really fun so I just kept going, but the older I get, the more I’m kind of like, I would like to find something to just settle on,” she explained. She also talked about how the intense workload of her early years in the spotlight impacted her mental health. “I went to a mental institute and canceled one of my tours,” Gomez shared. “It just got to me because I love working and it distracts me from bad things.”

The actress Selena Gomez is thinking about putting her acting career on hold in order to concentrate on her acting profession. She thinks she still has one more record in her, and she feels like her appearance on Wizards launched her singing career.

Though she gained popularity and put out multiple solo albums, including Revival and Revelación, Gomez never gave up on her dream of becoming an actress. She appreciates her job in music even though she's not the best vocalist, and she's presently dating producer Benny Blanco. Although Gomez acknowledges she needs a vacation from acting, she still thinks she will release one more album.
