The Christmas season will begin on September 1 with a concert in a mall by Jose Mari Chan.

Jose Mari Chan is the one who adds an additional special touch to Christmas celebrations. This year you can watch him sing it live this September 1.

If you're curious about where Jose Mari Chan will be on September 1st, you can catch the OPM legend and Christmas icon at Festival Mall's Light up the Holidays performance. The event begins at 6:30 o'clock. at the Water Garden of the mall.

We're going out on a limb here and saying that the setlist for JMC contains "Christmas in Our Hearts," but even though the Water Garden is an open space, you'd still want to get the best seats to actually see him perform. You won't have to pay an arm and a leg, so don't worry about getting a pass for Light Up the Holidays.

The rules are as follows: From any Festival Mall restaurant, you must have one or two cumulative receipts totaling P3,000. In case you were wondering, the purchase date(s) should fall between August 28 and September 1.

Only one ticket may be redeemed for each receipt that totals P3,000 or more. This means that if you have one or two receipts totaling P6,000, it does not always signify that you have purchased two tickets. From August 28 to September 1, you can obtain the event pass by presenting your legitimate receipt or receipts at the mall's concierge counter.

The counter here is open starting at 10:00 a.m., and it is located on the mall's upper ground floor in the East Wing. till 5:00 p.m. only.
