Thousands of Job Opportunities Available in Taiwan, MECO Announces Series of Job Fairs Across the Philippines
The Manila Economic and Cultural Office (MECO) intends to organize employment fairs in key locations of the country this year to fill Taiwan vacancies, including a special one-day exhibition in Isabela on June 7.
Bello stated that the first job fair to be conducted in his home province of Isabela is simply the beginning of a job-matching event by Taiwanese enterprises in the Philippines, which will be reproduced in other cities throughout the country.
Approximately 12 Taiwanese firms, recruiting agencies, and colleges will fly to Ilagan City to screen and interview potential candidates for opportunities in various factories. There are also job openings for caretakers and financial opportunities for students.
One of the cooperating employers is I-Mei Foods, a leading food processing and manufacturing company in Taiwan.
Applicants can pre-register for a job fair in China, where requirements and credentials are advertised. Pre-screening will take place prior to the fair. Three colleges will provide scholarships on June 7. The event will also feature the Isabela Public Employment Service Office, as well as provincial and local government units.
