The upcoming Disney short film "Dug Days" features Carl from "Up" returning to the dating scene.

Up is a movie that captures our hearts, the first scene that lasted 10 minutes  about the story of Carl and Ellie is indeed one of the best stories that made a lot of us cry.

Carl's backstory is told in the film 'Up' as a shy boy who admires a famous explorer named Charles F. Muntz. He then befriended Ellie, who is also a Muntz fan. Carl and Ellie eventually married and raised their families as balloon salesmen and zookeepers, respectively. They hoped to have children, but Ellie was diagnosed as infertile. Ellie became ill and died while they were planning their trip to Paris Falls. Carl becomes dissatisfied with life as a result.

They will make  a short film called  'Dug Days: Carl's Date,' which premiered on February 10, follows Carl Fredricksen, the protagonist from the 2009 animated film 'Up,' as he goes on his first-ever date after the death of his beloved wife, Ellie.

Carl's Date, a five-episode short film series, will focus on another aspect of Carl's meaningful journey in life. He is now ready to open his heart and fall in love again after the death of his wife Ellie. This is set to be the most dramatic episode of the series because it will deal with the heartbreaking theme of losing a loved one.

Despite this, fans are hopeful that he will find a new love.
