The 'Late Late Show' with James Corden responds to One Direction reunion rumors.

There are rumors roaming around about 1D coming back together but unfortunately  it is not what we think it is.

One Direction will not be coming back together for James Corden's final episode as host of The Late Late Show, despite rumors to the contrary. Indeed, the show called the reports a "false alarm." I know it hurts you as well, and we want them to be back but we are not getting them any sooner.

No one loves the boys more than us, but this story is simply untrue, they stated on Twitter on April 13 in response to a Daily Mail article. It's true that on April 27 at 10 p.m., we'll be celebrating eight years of The Late Late Show with a two-hour finale that will be absolutely brilliant.

Despite not coming together to say goodbye to James, Harry Styles, Niall Horan, Liam Payne, Louis Tomlinson, and Zayn Malik have a long history with the show. Prior to their 2016 breakup, 1D took part in segments like tattoo roulette, dodgeball, and carpool karaoke in addition to numerous interviews and performances.
