Taylor Swift proved she is a mastermind by performing 44 songs in a three-hour show.
You will know the struggle as an International swiftie if you have been watching the whole weekend on Tiktok Lives and Instagram Lives. I wish, I was in the opening of the Era’s tour but I am not which is so sad to be honest, but seeing swifties on Tiktok wearing their Era’s outfit, it was all gorgeous and feels I am part of it.
Swift opened her "Lover" era concert with "Miss Americana & the Heartbreak Prince," a song from the 2019 album, and then gave "Cruel Summer" its first live performance while wearing a crystalized corset and matching boots.
Swift questioned her audience during the performances of "Willow" and "Champagne Problems" from her pandemic-era album "Evermore," "Is it just me or do we have a lot to catch up on?
Given that this is Swift's first tour since her "Reputation" concerts in 2018, the question is reasonable.
Swift performed well-known songs from that time period, including "Delicate" and "Don't Blame Me," on a set where the "Reputation" snake slithered about.
Swift also performed the ten-minute version of "All Too Well," as well as some of her catchier songs from the "Red" era, including "We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together" and "I Knew You Were Trouble."
She then gave a live concert performance of songs from her upcoming album "Folklore" in 2020. In several of her music videos, Swift has been seen standing on a set that is decorated to look like the moss-covered "Folklore" cabin.
She sang a number of songs, including "Invisible String," "Cardigan," and "Betty," which helped to bring the moody and imaginative album to life. She later performed an acoustic version of "Mirrorball" after letting her audience know she'll perform a different acoustic song at each show during the tour.
This part of the show, which featured some of Swift's most well-known songs like "Blank Space," "Shake it Off," and "Wildest Dreams," seemed to be one big dance party in true "1989" style.
Swift performed songs from her "Fearless" era, including "You Belong with Me" and "Love Story," as well as older material, including "Tim McGraw," which she performed in 2006 at the piano.
Swift performed a number of songs from her platinum-selling 2022 album "Midnights," including "Anti-Hero," "Lavender Haze," "Mastermind," and "Bejeweled," as the show entered its final and current phase. She also performed the upbeat hit "Karma" to close out the performance.
More than 40 songs were included in Swift's set list, presumably demonstrating to her fans that the long wait for their anti-hero Taylor Swift to return to the stage was well worth it.
