Shin Mi-nah and Lee Sang-yi, stars of "Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha," reunite in a new romantic comedy

Three years after collaborating on the romantic comedy series "Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha," South Korean actors Shin Min-ah and Lee Sang-yi will reunite in "No Gain No Love."

In a press release, a streaming site revealed that Kim Young-dae and Han Ji-hyeon will be joining Shin and Lee in the upcoming K-drama. August 26 will mark the debut of "No Gain No Love."

The protagonist of the romantic comedy is Shin's character Son Hae-young, who is desperate to turn her life around after experiencing "loss after loss" and is looking for a "ridiculous fake marriage" with Kim Ji-wook, a convenience store employee (Kim Young-dae). Kim is the "local hero" who approved of Son's fictitious marriage in the meantime.

Han portrays Nam Ja-yeon, an R-rated web novelist, while Lee plays Bok Gyu-hyun, the CEO of Son's company. Kim Jung-sik will direct the series, while Kim Hye-young will write the narrative. Whether Shin and Lee's characters will be paired off is unknown. After a two-year hiatus, Shin is back in K-dramas with Lee starring in "My Demon," "Bloodhounds," and "Youth Of May."
