"On the Street," a new song from BTS's J-hope

Ahead of his military enlistment, BTS member j-hope will release a solo song titled On the Street.

J-hope wrote the song to display his "candid feelings toward his fans," according to a statement from BIGHIT Music published on the Weverse app on Sunday, February 26.

Additionally, they mentioned how the song honors the street dance tradition of the artist. An underground street dancer in the beginning, the artist.

“[It is where] his dream to become an artist began, and the path the artist and fans will continue to walk together,” they added.

Release day for On The Street is this coming Friday, March 3.

After confirming that J-hope had started the process of enlisting in the military, the agency made the announcement about the release of new music a few hours later, though no precise start date for his service has been given.
