Maymay Entrata Featured in Grammy's 'It Goes to 11' Series, Shares How In-Ear Monitors Boost Her Performance

In the Recording Academy's "It Goes to 11" series, Maymay Entrata talked about how using in-ear monitors enhanced her singing performance.

Entrata recounted how, three years ago, when she was still beginning to sing, she was out of tune, which made her notice other singers' in-ear monitors.

According to her, she went to Gary Valenciano, who she called "one of the most iconic music artists in the Philippines," and he gave her an explanation of how such a gadget may support singers during performances.

She stated, "I've come to the biggest realization that no magic or tools will prevent you from learning about something you want to pursue or something you want to be passionate about." "To have it, to learn it, it will always require patience, perseverance, and hard work."

"I love to be a blessing to others—to be able to give inspiration to those who sing my songs," she continued while discussing her career as a musician.

Entrata thanked the Recording Academy on Instagram after sharing her experience in the Grammy studio. She also named P-pop groups BINI and BGYO, as well as Filipino musicians Felip and Josh of SB19, who were on the Academy's 2024 and 2023 lists.
