In the new movie "Walang KaParis," Alessandra De Rossi and Empoy Marquez reunite after six years.

The film Walang KaParis, which was directed by Sigrid Andrea Bernardo, centers on the search for a mysterious woman who frequently enters the thoughts of Filipino painter Jojo (Marquez), who lives and works in Paris. He soon encounters Marie (played by De Rossi), who declares to be the muse he is seeking.

Walang KaParis, the name of the movie, is a play on the Tagalog word "kapares," which means "love match," as well as the French city of Paris, where the movie is set. De Rossi expressed her excitement about collaborating with the comedian on a second project in an Instagram post on Friday, March 3.

“Ang pagbabalik ng economy class tandem, na tatalunin ang pa-world class! Walang ganun! Kami na ‘to! We’re back and we’re back to back,” she captioned the post.

Production companies Spring Films and Viva Films are in charge of the upcoming love story, and Piolo Pascual and Joyce Bernal are listed as producers. KZ Tandingan, who was in the film Kita Kita as well, will return to record the soundtrack for Walang KaParis.

In 2017, De Rossi and Marquez collaborated for the first time on the movie Kita Kita, which went on to become the highest-grossing independent film in the nation after taking in more than P300 million in just three weeks.

On March 23, Walang KaParis will be made available on Prime Video.
