Elisse Joson defends McCoy de Leon amid playboy accusations
Can you really judge someone the way he acts on social media? Judging someone's character or intentions based solely on their social media activity, such as who they follow, can be problematic and potentially misleading. Elisse Joson defends her partner, McCoy de Leon, alleging that she made a mistake on TikTok and that viewers only witnessed a piece of the incident.
“Meron talagang hindi nakakaintindi (There are people who can’t understand). I did something that hurt him really badly. Now that he’s hurting, he doesn’t know how to take the pain away,” she said. “‘He’s living with closed eyes.’ He’s protecting me so that the blame will be on him.”
“True enough, you all see what he’s doing wrong, and since our issue is private, you only see that he’s the only one at fault. I posted this so that those who can comprehend the context of this post can see the actuality of the situation,” continued the actress.
Joson said that de Leon is "going through the worst" because people accuse him of "following and liking other pictures of women despite already having a girlfriend."
"And loving or following are simply a little part of what he is going through.
What my family is going through. Kumbaga, it's only a small fraction. McCoy is going through the worst right now," she said, adding that people should reflect before making comments.
The actress, who previously dated actor Mccoy de Leon, has resumed their romance following a split in January 2023. Joson, who had earlier condemned de Leon for his history and sins, now defends him as a wonderful person and human being. She begged people to stop labeling de Leon as a "box" and instead see him as a whole person. The couple's romance has recently been renewed.
