Creamline remain unbeaten and take the lead in the 2023 Premier Volleyball League.


Creamline defeated Choco Mucho 25-18, 25-13, 25-14 on Valentine's Day, February 14, at the Smart Araneta Coliseum, to remain unbeaten and take the lead in the 2023 Premier Volleyball League (PVL) All-Filipino Conference.

The Cool Smashers improved to 3-0 in this conference, having not lost a single set. Creamline also improved to an 8-0 record against Choco Mucho.

Since their inception in 2019, the Flying Titans have yet to defeat the Cool Smashers.

"Actually, in the third set, they chased us but it's good we recovered. The players enjoyed it, they were excited to face Choco Mucho's complete lineup."


Jia De Guzman once again orchestrated Creamline's offense with 25 excellent sets, producing three double-digit scorers in Ced Domingo, Jema Galanza, and Michelle Gumabao, who each scored 15 points.

Galanza nearly had a triple-double with 11 excellent digs and eight excellent receptions. Tots Carlos, who contributed six points, also contributed on defense with eight excellent receptions.

Galanza kept Creamline's head above water after Choco Mucho threatened to come back after cutting a 4-11 deficit to two, 9-11.

Galanza provided the atillery that propelled the Cool Smashers to a 13-2 run that gave them a 22-13 lead over the Flying Titans, who fell to 1-2.
Creamline won the match thanks to Ced Domingo's back-to-back points, the first of which was an attack and the second of which was a block point.
