BINI Scores First MTV EMA Nomination for Best Asia Act at 2024 Awards

The female group BINI has received its first nomination by the organization that bestows awards, this time for Best Asia Act at the 2024 MTV Europe Music Awards.

“Starting off the EMA season with the Best Asia Nominee For 2024: [Philippine flag emoji] @bini_ph,” the post read.

BINI's competition for the prize includes the K-pop group ILLIT, the J-pop group Sakurazaka46, the Indonesian singer-songwriter Mahalini, and the Malaysian band Masdo.

On November 6, fans will have the opportunity to vote on MTV EMA's official website to determine the winner. The website will tabulate ten votes daily.

BINI's ascent to superstardom over the past year has made it an unforgettable year for them. The eight-piece girl group was also nominated for other awards in 2024, including the BreakTudo Awards, Awit Awards, 16th Star Awards for Music, and MYX Music Awards.

The Filipino girl group BINI performed at KCON LA 2024 and was listed as one of the "12 Rising Girl Groups to Know Now" by the Grammy Awards. They unveiled the "Binimo remix" of their popular song, Cherry on Top, which features Agnes Mo, an Indonesian singer. Born To Win was their first song, released in June 2021. The UK's Manchester will host the 2024 MTV EMA.
