Learning Whisky is for You, and Here’s Why
Drinking alcohol can be expensive, particularly if you try premium brands like Taiwanese whisky Clase Azul or Kavalan. Not everyone can afford to purchase a bottle of these goods, and liquor dealers frequently don't have upscale bars close by or offer samples. It's never a good idea to spend that much money on a tiny amount of liquid, regardless of the price.
Every month, masterclasses featuring different liquor brands are held at the Whisky Library located in Newport Resorts World. Even though the lessons aren't precisely inexpensive, anyone who simply wants to sample these quality spirits will find them to be really valuable.
To simplify, the May masterclass featured the upscale tequila brand Clase Azul; on July 17, there will be a Dalmore Vintage lesson. Plata, Reposado, Gold, Añejo, and Ultra were the five bottles in the main line that were tasted during the 5,500 peso event ticket tasting. Retailing for about 13,000 pesos, the Plata bottle is the least expensive of these bottles. Retailing for 170,000 pesos, the Ultra is the most costly. If you could locate a pub that served Ultra, the price of a single shot would likely surpass the cost of the Masterclass. The Whisky Library's menu even lists the price of a shot of the Ultra at 17,500 pesos.
The Whisky Library Masterclasses are a reasonably priced method to sample fine spirits and discover how they're made. Dinner is served throughout the event, and menu items include Peking duck eclairs, sous vide sirloin steaks, preserved scallops, and Kingfish ceviche. Attendees can learn about the manufacturing process and savor the beverages as brand ambassadors talk about each product and its flavors. For enthusiasts, the event is ideal as it can result in the formation of new drinking companions. Dalmore Vintage Masterclass will take place on July 17 and will be led by resident whisky expert George Schulze of Dlamore Asia.
