Nostalgia Meets Indulgence: Hard Mountain Dew Brings a Boozy Twist to a Classic Favorite

Mountain Dew has long been a favorite for mixing with alcoholic beverages, but now it’s taken things to the next level. Introducing Hard Mountain Dew—a drink that needs no mixing to deliver that uninhibited, intoxicating experience. Already a popular choice in the market, this bold new beverage lets Mountain Dew fans enjoy their favorite flavor with a kick, straight from the can.

Hard Mountain Dew is a boozy canned version of Mountain Dew, which is also known as Mtn Dew in other countries (JICYDK). Originally introduced in the US in 2022, this is regarded as the firm PepsiCo's first alcoholic beverage.

A "flavored malt beverage," Hard Mountain Dew is available in four fruity flavors: basic Mountain Dew, lime-flavored Baja Blast, orange-flavored Livewire, and watermelon. This brand of beverages is said to have no added sugar or caffeine and an alcohol content of 5% by volume (ABV).

The Hard Mountain Dew has been around for years, but if you've been getting it via resellers and pasabuys, you don't need to anymore because it will soon be available in the Philippines. Sure enough, we found the Hard Mountain Dew Instagram page (fr, fr). Although the products are actually already available at a few stores, including The Marketplace, Robinsons Supermarket, Robinsons Easymart, Shopwise, SM Supermarket, Puregold, and Alfamart, their official launch in the Philippines appears to be on September 8, 2024, based on the numerous teasers they have posted.

Hard Mountain Dew will be sold in the Philippines in two flavors: Beach Blast (tropical fruits) and Original (citrus), with costs ranging according to the locale. Each 330-ml bottle will retail for P62.
