McDonald's Chocnut Sundae & McCafe Chocnut Frappe - Bringing Joy to the Child in Each of Us

Do you still remember Chocnut? It is a sweets from Philippines usually sold in small bars, made with cocoa powder, peanuts and sugar. If you loved it as a child well, you might be in love with Mcdo’s newest creation. This could help beat the summer heat as well as giving you a sweet treat. You can have a sundae and a frappe to enjoy these so here are  what you can expect.

This Chocnut Sundae  which costs P65, is made with McDonald's famous vanilla soft serve and caramel sauce. On top, there are larger bits of chocolate, so the chocolate is just barely crushed. You may or may not have DIY'd this very easy Choc Nut dessert application on a hot summer's day.

The McCafe Chocnut Frappe, which is only available at McDonald's locations when a McCafe is purchased, is more imaginative. This drink, which costs P175 for a medium and P185 for a large, is an iced coffee with chocolate mixed in, topped with whipped cream and additional crushed chocolate bits.

I know what you're thinking, why not buy a chocnut and  make it yourself well dear. This kind of mouthwatering goodness is an exception you will know once you try it  for yourself.

It is best paired with  two other new dishes, McDonald's unveiled its new Chocnut offerings: the Double Cheeseburger (with an updated recipe) and the Sweet Corn McShaker Fries. Order the Double Cheeseburger Meal with Sweet Corn McShaker Fries and add your choice of Chocnut dessert (or both, if you're feeling very daring) if you want to experience all three new things at once.
