Using a reusable cup earns you a Starbucks star.

You can change things by bringing your own cups. Aside from the fact that it can benefit the environment, now is our chance to shine if, like me, you enjoy sipping from your own cup. Doing it at Starbucks will earn you a star.

When you order a drink at Starbucks using a reusable cup, you can now earn one Star—a unit in the company's reward system—but only for in-store purchases. These Stars are helpful since they entitle the account holder to a complimentary drink or pastry of their choosing after they get 100 Stars.

The standard P10 discount for using a reusable cup is still valid in addition to the Star bonus. We will not prevent you from purchasing new drinkware from Starbucks' feline collection and using it for the promo, but the discount and promotion are only valid on Starbucks-branded tumblers and cups.

This promotion for Starbucks Stars is valid through February 19 only. So be sure to watch for their Double Stars Day if you want to get the most Stars in a single transaction.
