Thai cuisine chewy, jelly-like khanom chan is typically prepared with tapioca, rice, and/or coconut milk. Even if you can't go to the nation, you can still have khanom chan right here on our shores—and due to local vendor Khun Lek, you can do it in a very delicious way.
Owner of EP Farm Tagaytay and owner of Khun Lek is actress and model Rachel Lobangco. She studied Thai cookery at Blue Elephant cookery School & Restaurant in Bangkok. Khanom Chan, or Thai coconut-pandan layered glass jelly, is the specialty of the establishment and is available for P299 for six pieces.
While most conventional versions of the delicacy are merely stacked, Khun Lek's version is particularly striking since it resembles vibrant flowers in bloom.
You can order it by sending them a DM on instagram Khun Lek's Instagram page.
