The world record for most expensive ice cream was recently broken by this white truffle gelato.

If you have unending cash where will you splurge on? If I were you I would try a lot of food from cheapest to expensive and this 300,000 pesos ice cream would be added on the list for sure.

Cellato, an ultra-luxe Japanese ice cream business, has set the record for Most Expensive Ice Cream with a gelato created with two types of cheese (including Parmigiano Reggiano), white truffle, and sake lees, according to Guinness World Records. It's named Byakuya, and one 130-ml serving costs 880,000 JPY, according to Cellato's website.

It may be more well known that Parmigiano cheese is pricey, but what really drives the price of this premium ice cream is the cost of the white truffles: they use a kind of rare white truffle grown only in Alba, Italy, which is priced at 2 million Japanese yen (that's almost P800,000 per kilo)!

Byakuya is described by Cellato as "a rich and mellow gelato with two types of cheese as a base and white truffle with  They employ sake kasu or sake lees, a type of white paste that is a byproduct of sake manufacture, in addition to white truffles. According to Cellato, this ancient Japanese ingredient "gives the scent a faint sweetness and gorgeous ginjo incense,"

White truffles, parmigiano cheese, and white truffle oil are used to create Byakuya's wonderfully created ice cream.

Customers can microwave it for 10–20 seconds or combine the truffle oil with the ice cream until it is soft. The metal spoon, which is manufactured by Takeuchi artisans in Fushimi, Kyoto, using methods borrowed from ancient temple construction, comes in two different designs.
