Gordon Ramsay is planning to open his first restaurant in the Philippines at Newport World Resorts.
Gordon Ramsay was renowned for his tough demeanor in the kitchen, yet his exceptional culinary skills are well-recognized. Filipinos will soon have the opportunity to savor his delectable creations.
By the second quarter of next year, Newport World Resorts plans to open one of its largest restaurants on the property, Gordon Ramsay Bar & Grill, the first of its kind in the country.
NWR chairman Kevin Tan revealed this yesterday, noting that the inauguration of Gordon Ramsay Bar & Grill is part of NWR's epic metamorphosis.
“We are delighted to partner with Chef Gordon Ramsay on his first restaurant in the Philippines.
Moreover, our customers can look forward to more exciting announcements from NWR in the coming months,” Tan said.
Gordon Ramsay's first restaurant will open in the Philippines at NWR, a 25-hectare resort.
The menu will include Ramsay's famed Beef Wellington, as well as rare breed steaks, grilled specialties, and fresh market seafood. NWR, which opened in 2009, is the country's most diverse recreational attraction, surrounded by an affluent residential development.
Five international hotels, two affiliate hotels, luxury shopping, world-class live entertainment venues, a large casino complex, and multiple restaurant options are all part of the 25-hectare master-planned development. The resort also has a number of MICE spaces, including the Marriott Grand Ballroom, the country's largest hotel ballroom. The Newport Performing Arts Theater, Bar 360, El Calle Food and Music Hall, Newport Mall, and more than 70 restaurants serve a wide range of local and foreign food.
