If you are voting next year just so you know not only they have names but also your picture too. The photographs will be posted by the Commission on Elections, according to Commission Chairman George Garcia, to facilitate voters' ability to locate their polling places.

I know you saw your Voter photos were only available in the Book of Voters, which was kept by the Electoral Boards in the voting places, in previous elections. However, the computerized voters' list (PCVL), which is typically posted outside of precincts, only includes the names of voters who have registered to vote.

Garcia stated that in addition to the new PCVL, the public would still be able to use the online Precinct Finder on the Comelec website to assist voters in locating polling places.

Polling place assistance desks are being installed by the Parish Pastoral Council for Responsible Voting. Garcia stated that voters may locate their designated precincts with the help of the PPCRV desk.
