The governor of Albay wants the cooperation of the mayors in the Mayon evacuation.

Following Guinobatan and Sto, Governor of Albay Edcel Greco Lagman anticipates mayors to communicate before ordering the evacuation of people outside the 6-kilometer danger zone around the Mayon volcano. Domingo was evacuated because of instability.

Paul Chino Garcia, the mayor of Guinobatan, has advised the mayors of the province to give their decisions careful consideration because they can have strong justifications. He thinks that the mayors need to have access to a fair trial and the option to impose a decampment if required.

Two barangays that might be at risk from a severe volcanic eruption have been evacuated by Garcia's residents. He stressed the danger posed by the two barangays' proximity to the Mayon Volcano's two gullies and the challenge of getting them to an evacuation center.

Garcia also claimed that after hearing the volcano rumble and noticing ash on their plants and automobiles, barangay authorities and inhabitants asked to be evacuated. He has arranged to speak with Lagman about assistance for the evacuees.

Due to ash and poisonous gas emissions from Mayon, a dangerous volcano close to Manila, a 5-step alert system has been activated. Additionally, 20 typhoons every year affect it, resulting in extensive devastation and poverty.
