Staying at home made us creative and appreciate the things we have. These designers have come up with a brilliant idea to upcycle discarded packaging like Mcdonalds, Cereals, and more known brands to make into known luxury brands like Prada and Dior.
They are Chiara Rivituso and Matteo Bastiani located in Milan Italy. Worked in fashion design for other brands. Mainly, bags and accessories. Matteo Bastiani a technical consultant to create prototypes and Chiara Rivituso a pattern and product developer. “We’d like to inspire people to create rather than waste and we’d like to also involve brands to embrace this vision,” writes Rivituso. “People are becoming more and more sensitive to upcycling.” These bags are also functional so you can carry it and bring it everywhere. Being fashionable and be eco-friendly at the same time. Too sad, you can only look at it on their Instagram because they are not for sale but soon. “We are also considering creating some series to sell rather than single products. We love the idea of collection and repetition as a means to emphasize the concept.”
