The new normal is now part of our life but it doesn’t mean we will not take care of ourselves, of course, we need to even companies should do it to their employees. The government DTI, Dole, and DILG asked for the businesses to find a staggered and adopt working shift that enables them to protect their employees and perform well on their jobs since our economy is still on lockdown.

“Some may start at 7 a.m. while others at 8 a.m., 9 a.m. and so on,” Labor Secretary Silvestre Bello III said.

For better-staggered work shifts, the Department of Labor and Employment (Dole), Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG), and Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) laid down a policy for multiple and staggered work shifts.

It will allow workers and buyers to contribute to the economy but of course, strictly complying with wearing masks and physical distancing. By following this advisory will limit employees to go to the office at the same time while following physical distancing requirements to minimize the risk of coronavirus transmission. It will also limit traffic buildup and demand for public transportation.
