Mayor Alice Guo maintains her identity as Hua Ping Guo.
Sen. Sherwin Gatchalian made public a document produced by the Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs on April 3, 1999, which identified Alice Guo, the suspended mayor of Bamban. Guo is a student who was born on August 31, 1990.
“Alice Guo might be Guo Hua Ping who entered the Philippines on Jan. 12, 2003, when she was 13 years old. Her real birth date is on Aug. 31, 1990,” said Gatchalian.
“This is according to documents provided by the Board of Investments from the Guo family’s application for a Special Investors Resident Visa and the Bureau of Immigration. Guo Hua Ping’s registered mother under the SIRV is Lin Wenyi,” Gatchalian added.
The Office of the Solicitor General may pursue quo warranto actions against Guo as a result of discrepancies in her documentation. Regarding her company, Baofu Land Development Inc., which was engaged in a recent raid on an offshore gaming hub in the Philippines, and her purported connections to criminals, Guo was questioned by the Senate.
Zhang, a former lawmaker from Singapore, was found guilty of having ties to the country's biggest money laundering scandal. Her foreign holdings total $41 million, which includes stock in a Philippine real estate firm. Guo, an elected official from the Philippines, has refuted any connection to offenses such as cybercrimes, prostitution, human trafficking, or murder, asserting that she is a dignified and morally upright Filipino official.
In a letter to the Presidential Anti-Organized Crime Commission (PAOCC), Bamban Mayor Guo stated her readiness to work with the authorities to find the truth on claims of money laundering, kidnapping, espionage, and human trafficking. Guo's attorneys, Lorelie Santos and Yvette Gianan, sent the letter declaring her readiness to assist the PAOCC to the Malacañang Records Office. In relation to the Bamban POGO hub, the PAOCC plans to file criminal accusations against Guo and other celebrities. The charges will go into depth about Guo's purported participation with Zun Yuan Technology Inc., a POGO hub that was raided in March due to allegations of engaging in illicit operations, including human trafficking.
Guo and two local government representatives have been placed under suspension by the Office of the Ombudsman, pending the completion of an inquiry to ascertain their involvement in the illicit activities within the POGO hub.
