Maricel Soriano appears during a Senate hearing over a purportedly leaked PDEA report.

The Senate is looking into the actress Maricel Soriano for allegedly leaking PDEA records about her and President Ferdinand Marcos Jr.'s alleged drug use. In front of the committee, she swore.

PDEA Director General Moro Virgilio Lazo made it clear during the most recent hearing on April 30 that the documents were fraudulent.

Jonathan Morales, a former PDEA investigation agent, disagreed, arguing that the documents that were leaked and linked Marcos and Soriano to illegal drugs were authentic. The paper was signed by Morales.

Senator Ronald "Bato" Dela Rosa expressed his conviction that the documents were authentic the day following Morales' statement on May 1, describing Morales as "very straightforward."
