This is according to a recent announcement Jennie made on her social media platforms. The announcement also included a concept photo featuring Jennie with a bold red wig, peeking through a black curtain. It looks like Jennie is ready to break out of her shell and unleash her creativity on the world.

In a different post, Jennie also shared a concept teaser for "Ruby," giving fans a preview of what to expect.
Along with collaborations with Dua Lipa, Childish Gambino, Dominic Fike, Doechii, FKJ, and Kali Uchis, the album will have 15 tracks.
The record, which has been in production since early 2024, is referred to as the "puzzle of [her] dreams" since it allowed her greater creative freedom, according to Jennie in an exclusive interview with Billboard.
“I can’t explain how much that helped in terms of the beginning era of making this album. I never really had a chance to look back at myself [during Blackpink’s rise], so [this process] was a time to really be like, ‘What was I interested in back then?’ Those times played a big role to get it started,” she said of her creative process, sharing that most of the album was done in Los Angeles, California.
Blackpink's lead singer and rapper, Jennie, made her debut in August 2016. Five years later, "Solo" and "You and Me" were released as her solo debut in November 2018. Ruby, Jennie's studio album, will be released on March 7.
