Japan Home Centre are accepting real onion as payment

Onions here in the Philippines are expensive and everyone will surely agree. The Japan Home Centre decided to accept onions as payments so if you have onions or you have a field of onions this is the store you need to go this weekend and buy some home necessities in exchange of your golden onions.

Japan Home Center, a popular P88 store in the Philippines, is accepting onions as payment for their selected products for one day only.

This promotion is only available on February 4 at the Panay Avenue branch near Victoria Towers.

Customers can purchase up to three items. One onion is the same as one item.

So where will the onions go after  payment you may ask well, The onions will be donated to the store's community pantry, according to the store.
