Hotel Sogo Launches AI Tech Concept Rooms with Virtual Assistant 'Aiko' for Keyless, Streamlined Check-In Experience

Known for its themed rooms perfect for visits with friends or loved ones, Hotel Sogo now offers something even more unique with its Sogo AI Tech Concept Rooms. Equipped with AI-powered, internet-connected amenities, these rooms feature “Aiko,” a virtual assistant who seamlessly manages self-check-in and provides guests with a digital QR code as their “key” to unlock their room, creating a modern, keyless, and hassle-free stay.
In the Philippine Star interview, Hotel Sogo Marketing Manager Suzette Geminiano also mentioned that after you enter the room, voice commands are used to automate everything. The TV, lights, and other electric-powered equipment will turn on when the guests say, "Computer, I'm here." To change the mood and dim the lights, you can even say, "Computer, romantic time." Additionally, their CRs include automatic body dryers that allow you to dry yourself without the need for towels.
These Hotel Sogo AI Tech Concept Rooms are currently operational in four locations: Mexico, Pampanga; Malate; Fairview; and Davao. However, the upgrade will soon include additional branches.
