Angkas Introduces 'Angcars' in Metro Manila: Now Available in Select Areas During Beta Phase
Angkas, the popular moto-taxi service in the Philippines, is taking a bold step forward with the introduction of Angcars, a new car-hailing service on its app. Known for revolutionizing urban transportation, Angkas is now expanding its offerings, aiming to provide even more convenience and flexibility to commuters. With Angcars currently in its beta phase, the service is available in select areas, signaling the company's commitment to evolving and meeting the diverse needs of its users.
The original moto-taxi and Padala services are the first two options; the new service is the third. But it's still in beta testing and only accessible in a few Metro Manila locations.
As of this writing, Mandaluyong, Makati, Pasig, and Bonifacio Global City in Taguig are being served by Angcars.
The Angcars fare schedule has been made public by Angkas. There is a base rate of Php 45.00, a per-kilometer fee of Php 15.00, and a per-minute fee of Php 2.00, which varies according to traffic.
George Royeca, CEO of Angkas, unveiled the Angcars Economy and Angcars Plus four-seater vehicle alternatives. Soon, expect coverage to expand to Metro Manila.
