Commuters can book tricycle rides and pay cashless for PUV fares with the DyipPay app.

"Barya lang sa umaga" (early morning fares) in Filipino refers to paying exact or reduced sums. Enrique Tan, a former taxi, tricycle, and jeepney driver, created DyipPay, which enables users to make payments using Php500 or Php1,000 bills.

You don't need to worry if all you have in your wallet are big bills because the app allows you to pay for your public utility vehicle (PUV) fares using your online bank account or e-wallet.

Additionally, the driver will be able to concentrate more on the road, improving everyone in the car's safety. As a matter of fact, the designer said that he was driving when he became preoccupied and ended up in an accident while trying to collect the fare from the passenger.

Tan completed a six-month computer software technology course with TESDA and acquired the necessary knowledge to design an app.

The PUV's current destination can be displayed on the app. Additionally, you may input your departure and destination points, check your fare, and pay for it with a single button click by scanning a QR code on the PUV you're in.

In addition, customers of the DyipPay app can reserve tricycle trips as an added incentive.

The software is currently being tested in a few locations within Region 3. Tan did note that one of the biggest obstacles is a lack of money, but the business stated that they hope to release the app by 2024.
