Samsung's Camera Assistant is now available for Galaxy A-series devices.

The Camera Assistant app is now available for the Galaxy A53 and A54. Both mid-range smartphones now have access to Android 14 and One UI 6.0, and as a result, they're now compatible with the photography Assistant app, which provides more advanced photography settings.

If you own a Galaxy A53 or Galaxy A54 with the Android 14-based One UI 6.0, you can now download the Camera Assistant software from the Galaxy Store app. It integrates with the stock camera software on both smartphones and provides enhanced settings and functions. The app's most recent version (2.0.01.0) also includes several bug fixes. Camera Assistant compatibility is also planned with the One UI 6.0 upgrade for the Galaxy A73.

Camera Assistant includes an automatic lens switching toggle, Quick Tap Shutter, the ability to disable Auto HDR, and a Soften Pictures option to alleviate over-sharpness. Camera Assistant is expected to be rolled out to further Galaxy A-series phones in the coming months, with the addition of the Galaxy A53 and A54 to the list of supported smartphones.
