Instagram independent account cancellation will soon be supported by threads

Are you joining the threads? Well if you have no idea what this new social media app that has been the talk of the town. I'll give  you a bit of a talk about it . Threads is a social networking software created by Meta, the company behind Facebook and Instagram.

With threads, you can browse a feed of everything that is happening with your friends or other users you may be interested in. You can also publish your own messages and text photographs.

Users have started to find that while they could now just deactivate or disable their Threads accounts, in order to completely remove them, they would also need to erase their Instagram accounts.

Adam Mosseri, the CEO of Instagram, was made aware of this problem and has now responded on his Threads account. He made it clear that users may still cancel their Threads accounts, which should make their profile and material on the site invisible. Additionally, he says that people can erase certain Threads entries and make their profile private.

Don’t ya worry guys because he said that because Instagram powers Threads, both profiles on the two platforms continue to be considered as one account. However, he added that they are now searching for a way to allow users to delete their Threads accounts individually.
