Tinder's incognito mode conceals your profile from people you don't want to meet.

Since the start of the pandemic, finding love is now online even now. If you use tinder as one of your go to apps to find the love of your life you will love its new feature. Tinder announced a new incognito mode in its newsroom, allowing you to swipe through profiles without showing up in their recommendations feed unless you "like" them (via TechCrunch). It feels like a stalker but I know you want that

Tinder's algorithm currently surfaces your profile in other members' recommendations, regardless of whether you swipe right or left on them. Incognito mode, on the other hand, hides your profile from other users unless you express interest, which should help ensure that your profile is seen by the people you want to see it.

The new feature is only available if you pay for Tinder Plus, Gold, or Platinum, which vary in price depending on your age and length of subscription. While you can hide your profile for free, doing so means you won't appear for anyone on the app and won't be able to view anyone else, which makes it difficult to use the app to find a date.

If you don't have a Tinder subscription ,there is another useful feature for everyone on the app: the ability to block profiles that appear in your feed. This expands on the feature that allows you to block specific Tinder contacts and could be useful if you don't want to see an ex or coworker while using the app.
