PH now has Gogoro Smartscooters with swappable battery technology.

Filipinos can now enjoy, the GoGoro Smartscooters and they can swap the battery whenever they need to recharge.

The first shipment of Smartscooters, batteries, and charging stations have already arrived in the Philippines, according to Globe Telecom, one of the major organizations introducing Gogoro to the Philippines.

The first shipment, which contains 100 Gogoro Smartscooters, 400 smart batteries, and 7 GoStations, has now arrived.

It operates in a very basic manner. Smartscooter users can visit GoStations once their battery runs out of power to exchange it for a fully charged one.

According to Globe, the logistics and last-mile delivery sectors would test the scooters in Metro Manila during the first quarter.
