Netflix password sharers would be charged Php149 per month for additional subscribers.

If you  love to share your Netflix to your friends you need to think twice of doing it because if not you will be charged 149 pesos by doing it.

Netflix stated in a statement that emails would be issued to subscribers who share their accounts outside of their households beginning today.

“A Netflix account is for use by one household. Everyone living in that household can use Netflix wherever they are — at home, on the go, on holiday — and take advantage of new features like Transfer Profile and Manage Access and Devices, the company said.”

If you share your account with someone who is not a member of your family, you will be charged PHP 149 per month.

If you do not want to pay more costs, the profile can be switched to a new membership that they will have to pay for.

“We recognize that our members have many entertainment choices. It’s why we continue to invest heavily in a wide variety of new films and TV shows — so whatever your tastes, mood or language and whoever you’re watching with, there’s always something satisfying to watch on Netflix, the platform said.”

According to Netflix's plans and pricing, the standard and premium subscriptions include the option of adding more members.
