According to a report on 24 Oras on Saturday, there were 6,250 documented cybercrimes in the area from January to June 2023, according to data from the National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO).

From January to June 2022, there were 2,477 cybercrimes reported in the NCR.
In 2022, online scams decreased from 4,446 to 1,551, illegal access to 570, and ATM/credit card fraud to 241.
