Hyundai and Rayvolt unveil a unique edition of the eXXite Next e-Bike.
Hyuandai are joining the gang as they release a new e-bike for you to enjoy. Hyundai is the latest auto manufacturer to enter the electric bike market, collaborating with Spanish startup Rayvolt on a limited edition eXXite Next e-bike.
The good thing about this e-bike, It has a torque sensor, which guarantees that power is delivered smoothly and consistently regardless of how hard you pedal. Then, Hyundai and Reyvolt added a 36V 14Ah battery pack disguised in the seat post, which is reported to have an 80-kilometer range on a single charge.
Rayvolt also installed their Intelligent Regenerative Braking Sensor (iRBS). Other features include a handlebar-mounted control panel and a back-pedal braking mechanism.
The control panel allows the rider to switch between modes, tinker with settings, and monitor critical statistics like battery life, assist mode, speed, and more. Oh, and it, of course, works with the Eiva app and the RegenFit accessory.
The sad news is the Hyundai eXXite Next e-bike is only available in France, a country with one of the most ambitious e-mobility plans. It costs EUR3,490 (Php209,900) at retail.
The EPAC 250W hub motor with 50Nm torque powers the Hyundai eXXcite Next e-bike special edition. This should result in an aided speed of roughly 25kph.
