Early this week, Meta might release a desktop version of Threads.

Threads will soon be available on desktop, so whether you're just getting started with it or have been using it since day one, you might end up enjoying it more. Power users like brands, company accounts, advertisers, and journalists can benefit more from Threads thanks to the eagerly awaited web version.

Although Instagram CEO Adam Mosseri suggested it would happen soon, Meta did not provide a debut date.

"We are close on web...," Mosseri said in a post on Threads on Friday. The launch could happen as early as this week, according to a report in the Wall Street Journal.

According to Similarweb research, Threads, a popular Android and iOS app, had a decline in daily active users in a little more than a month, going from 49.3 million to 10.3 million.

In the meantime, the management is launching new features swiftly. To set post notifications for accounts and view them in a kind of chronological feed, use Threads.
