Alexa integrated into the stainless steel Amazfit Bip 5 Unity, with an 11-day battery life
We are increasingly interested in fitness, and a smart watch is a better accessory to have than shoes. Fortunately, Amazfit has released a new smartwatch that costs less than $60. The smartwatch, which is marketed as the Amazfit Bip 5 Unity, includes an enormous display, native compatibility for Amazon Alexa, and a rather large battery that should last for more than a week.
Not long after revealing a new update for its current models, Amazfit has added more watches to its lineup. By the way, the company has now announced the US release date for its first-generation smart ring, the specifics of which we have already covered. This time, it unveiled the Bip 5 Unity, a less expensive version of the Bip 5 that is currently available for purchase worldwide (currently $79.99 on Amazon).
The Bip 5 Unity, like the Bip 5, has IP68 certification to prevent water and dust intrusion. In addition, unlike the Bip 5, the Bip 5 Unity's frame is made of stainless steel. Furthermore, Amazfit outfits the former with a 1.91-inch LCD screen that produces images at 320 x 280 pixels. Please take note that, despite what many Amazfit marketing photos would have you believe, the Bip 5 Unity smartwatch really has a significantly thicker chin than its side or top bezels.
With heavy use, the 300 mAh battery of the Amazfit Bip 5 Unity smartwatch may run for up to five days. It has a BioTracker PPG biometric sensor, which detects heart rate and blood oxygen levels. It also has 120 sports modes, 100 watch faces, and 70 apps. It also warns when the heart rate is too low.
